IN LANJARON

Shops:
Open 09:00 – 14:00 and 17:00 – 20:30 (closed Saturday afternoon)

CHEMIST:
Farmacia: In the square at the top of Lanjaron town.
La Parafarmacia: alternative chemist with a knowledgable owner and licensed homeopath.

Post Office/Correos: Open 09:00 – 14:00 (Mon to Fri).  Closed afternoons and weekends.

Banks: Open 09:00 – 14:00 (Mon to Fri).  Closed afternoons & weekends. Cash points in High Street.

Tabacconists: sell stamps and located approximately 60m past the Church, located on a corner.

SUPERMARKETS:
Supermercado Alpujarra: The ‘Tesco’ of the Alpujarras: Avenido Gonzales Robles, 6. Lanjaron.
Coviran Supermarket: located on the main Street in front of La Caixa Bank.
Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Store: located just before Coviran Supermarket, with a good variety.

Gift/Tourist Shops: located on the main road coming into Lanjaron (from Granada) typical local items.

Herbolario Health Foods: local health food/snacks.  Gifts/goods from India (opposite Supermercado Alpujarra, on the main Road).

Eating Out/Restaurants:
The Main Square: located towards the exit of the town (direction Granada on the right) you will find an excellent Ice Cream Shop, Pizzeria and Pancake Place.
In the same location you will find other places to eat, all offering a variety of local dishes. At the time of writing, we recommend: El Limonero (good International food with quirky touches and an eccentric chef). Baraka (nice Morroccan Café with Falafel and other light Middle Eastern foods & teas). Galindo’s Café & Panaderia (bakery).
